Below are some questions to surrounding the facilities we are evaluating. We need volunteers to visit them or to gather information about them (eg. answers to the questions).

1. Was there a feasibility study completed?
2. How much of the expenses are covered by user fees? Taxes?
3. Did they fund raise to build their facility?
4. Do they draw residents and non-residents?
5. When was it built?
6. Is it a leisure/rec pool or more of a competition pool?
7. What programs do they offer?
8. What are fees for day passes, annual/seasonal passes?
9. What challenges did they face while developing and constructing the pool?

A few suggestions for other facilities to investigate:

Facility opened last year, with an indoor and outdoor pool. Phil Brady (dp.brady@verizon.net) works at the Greater Plymouth Community Center (GPCC), and has a contact if we need it.

In Montco, just opened this summer and an excellent example of a modern municipal pool. It would great to have one of these facilities around here.
